Welcome to Soul Scars.

I am glad you have found us, and I welcome you. I created this site in the hopes of offering support, information, and compassion to survivors of domestic violence, as well as encouragement to any who may still be enduring the horror of a violent relationship. Being a survivor myself, I wanted to offer my experience in the hopes of helping other victims to find themselves again, and take the first steps towards reclaiming their lives from the cruel and undeserving hands of abusers.

On this site, you will find everything from important phone numbers, to stories of survival from victims of domestic violence, to a message board where survivors can go to interact, offer support, make friends, and find warmth and encouragement. I will also share my own story, in the hopes of encouraging any who may be visiting the site but uncertain whether or not they wish to join, to become a part of what I hope will, with time, become a family.

I welcome you.. with open arms, open ears, and an open heart.
